FM's have a lot to manage, and risk assessments can range from simple checklists to pages of complicated metrics to measure. Start by figuring out what your safety objectives are, and looking for areas of weakness and vulnerability. Then, consult with your vendors who are experts in those areas, and ask them for their risk assessment checklists. For instance, we are in the floor safety space so we have floor safety check lists and daily maintenance logs we share with our clients that help them stay safe and compliant. Don't reinvent the wheel. Lean on your vendors to help you mitigate risk. That's what they're there for!
