A hiring will be successful if we can find out - Culture fit to the team/organization - this aspect is not very important for junior roles, but is absolutly necessary for senior post/s - A way to measure how a person can apply the knowledge that he/she has aquired, for example if that person has applied for coding job, how he/she can apply his/her knowledge on how coding can solve some simple real world problems

In my experience, hiring works best when you have 3 keys: a hiring committee (that might include a bar raiser), a competency matrix, and documented feedback. The committee, made up of diverse voices, ensures a fair evaluation of candidates. The competency matrix acts like a roadmap, guiding assessments based on specific skills needed for the job. This keeps things fair and square. Documenting feedback at every step adds an extra layer of transparency and consistency. It's like having a record of the whole hiring journey. By working together, these tools create a strong defense against biases. They make sure the focus stays on talent and potential, not on personal biases, making the hiring process both straightforward and fair.
