I use mine maps to solve many problems at work and home. It gives me insight of maybe old problems or issues that have been in the hard to do basket for a while.

One thing I have found helpful is 'Benchmarking'. In many cases after saving for long time in the same organisation, yourself and other team members start to run out of ideas and the easiest way and very interesting way to generate ideas is through benchmarking and conducting physical tour to the organisation you are benchmarking yours to. This way your team members will definitely see new things and ideas will sprout without causing creative burnout.
I believe in conducting regular customer and end user surveys. The surveys must target different sample groups but highlight key aspects and the potential impact of the operations and growth strategies. For instance some entities do well in initiating employee surveys while others don't. Those that frequently engaged with their employees tend to have higher retention statistics that others. Employees perform better when the conditions they work are favorable in the long term. On the same token, solving a business problem may require different perspective and ideas to ensuring the most efficient and effective solution is agreed upon. I think before you evaluate your new ideas you have to explore new perspectives in other to know new methods,procedures and processes. Since you have tried different perspectives it will help you come out with a very strong and fresh ideas.
Whenever I'm not feeling creative, I do the opposite of what you think you should do. I give myself space and time and let my brain rest. You can't force yourself to do things and expect amazing results. Instead, you have to listen to what your mind and body actually needs. Think of it like a precision machine. You don't berate a car when it runs out of gas, you give it more gas. Treat yourself the same way, by fueling yourself WELL, and your performance output will be much higher.
Burnout is unavoidable in this time we are in. You have to continually be creative. You need fresh content to keep your employees attention and to keep retention. Look around, read reach out to others in your field and outside to find what they do and what works, then put your own spin on it

I find that Charts and spread sheets help me. I like visuals that can be updated periodically. It helps to make me feel organized. I also use my computer calendar to jot down what was done or what needs to be done. If I didn’t complete my daily list, I change the date for the following day so that I can complete my task. Sometimes you just have to relax your mind. Take a walk, watch people, go window shopping, and listen to those around you. Sometimes ideas will come like an epiphany.

One thing I found helpful is meditation. Every morning before I start my work I meditate for 10 mins. It helps me clear my thoughts and get me ready for the day.
In my experience trying out different ways and thinking of adding extra values to our routine activities (excelling the requirements), and rewarding ourselves can help us to avoid burnouts and motivate us more to try even new additional activities.
To reliably generate new ideas calls for the presence of various 'intellectuals' on the job. Intellectuals as 'historians' are collectors of ideas who love the “objects” of their work (e.g., mind maps, visualizations, schematics) needed for creative solutions. Familie, Freunde und Kollegen k?nnen eine neutrale Stellung zu den Themen einnehmen und ich kann mir die verschiedenen Meinungen anh?ren. In einem Brainstorming stelle ich dann Pros und Cons gegenüber und schaue mir die Machbarkeit an. Oft kommen auch gute Impressionen um noch weitere Wege zu ergründen. So ergeben sich auch nur eine Hand voll Ideen um ein Ziel zu erreichen. Davon suche ich mir dann die passendste und logischste Idee aus um das Ziel zu erreichen.
I like to add a short sub-step before Evaluation; Percolation. Just - give yourself time to let it sit. You just made it, its your best idea, your great work, your baby. Go do something else. Try and forget everything you ever thought about that project. Leave it entirely alone for at least a day, two or three if you can make your deadlines accept it. Now go back and look at it again critically. Always critique your own work to the best of your ability before passing it over to get reshaped by others' inputs. This way even if the critique is harsh or comprehensive, you can be confident because you presented your best and now you are in a place to accept what people give you, and grow as a professional from the suggestions.

Ein Ziel versuche ich stets als SMART zu verfassen. Dabei schreibe ich mir die verschiedenen Aspekte der Methode auf einem Notizzettel zusammen. Ich achte besonders darauf das Ziel zu terminieren und messbar zu machen. Nach Umsetzung reflektiere ich dann, ob ich das Ziel in der angestrebten Zeit geschafft und mit welchem Erfolg ich es umgesetzt habe. Daraus ziehe ich dann Rückschlüsse auf St?rken und Schw?chen. Ich verinnerliche, in welchen Punkten ich mich verbessern kann und welche Methoden besonders gut funktioniert haben. So erstelle ich den Kurs für kommende Ziele.
