I have an innate passion for writing and started searching for the opportunities on online platforms like LI, Instagram etcetera As fresher I would suggest sending cold messages to people who are hiring for writing positions. I agree, but with trepidation. High competition, the impact of AI, low pay and high fees means you will be fighting an uphill battle to make money. So approach it as a means to an end. In and out, quickly. Get what you came for - experience, pieces to add to your portfolio - and then get out. Use what you have, leverage your network on LinkedIn and get work through referral. I will add a controversial opinion here. Some will agree, some won't: Never work for free.

Content you have produced for Fiverr or other marketplaces can be used as part of your portfolio when searching for other opportunities.

I am in the process of building and growing my blog and I can definitely vouch for all the credibility it adds to your work portfolio. But, blogging is a long-term game. Don't get into it if you are not serious to do it.
