I've noticed that mechanical engineering resources are pretty scattered all over the internet. However, I recommend three books for Mechanical Engineers: 1. "Dimensioning and Tolerancing" by ASME: This book defines drafting rules with specific examples that are easy to understand. Unfortunately, not many experienced engineers follow these rules. 2. Many conferences give the papers on a flash drive when you go and pay. ASME etc.copyrighted articles then need to be paid for such as 25 US dollars for each. The great Texas A&M Turbomachinery Symposia with last one in Asia and the next one in Houston Texas in August have their papers, tutorials, and case studies free for all 6 months after closing. The conference's first day is all paid for courses. Won't go wrong going to Houston. Catch the tutorial I assisted with presented by Elliott Ebara Energy who is an extremely reliable compressor & turbine supplier partly because of those great TA&M Symposia.

An area sometimes overlooked websites like the British Standards Institute. They are the National Standards Body for the UK and cover so mnay topics via a different, interesting lens. Their site provides industry-related news, current hot topics, and press releases. Although there is a cost to access the content in some cases.

Create a central library of tools, standards, codes and rules of thumb on your company's server. Organize it. Share the folder location with your team. Standardize your team's processes that refer to all this literature.
