Look for the work that they've done in the past. This will be the number one tell as to the quality you'll receive. Many people say they can, but not all actually have. Find out what technology they use. Not all 3D printing tech works well for your specific model. I've done models in FDM which are made with different vibrant colours and then manually assembled leading to some slight inaccuracies in geometry and fit, MJF colour prints that match geometry perfectly but have very dull colours, as well as paper versions which don't have very good feature resolution, but are very robust and solid. Also, figure out what technology would be best for your model. Intricate gas plants don't work well in paper, but paper works great for houses.

We typically stay with SLA due to material variety, detail and accuracy of the technology. SLA has the best clarity so models that require transparency and detail fit well.

When printing small architectural models it can be helpful to leverage a full colour technology. Like the HP MJF or 3D Systems CJP technologies. This can remove the laborious task of having to manually finish the parts. Finding a reliable partner for this type of printing is generally recommended unless you have a huge throughput requirement which could warrant purchasing these costly machines.

W?hrend des kreativen Prozesses ist es wichtiger einen schnellen, kostengünstigen Druck zu erhalten, der einen m?glichst geringen Impact auf die Umwelt hat, wie z.B. mit PLA. Dies schont das Budget und führt zu schnellen Ergebnissen. Für eine Endpr?sentationen k?nnen langlebigere Materialen mit Farbeffekten z.B. PETG gew?hlt werden. Hochfeste, technische Materialen sind in der Regel nicht notwendig, da ein Modell eher statisch beansprucht wird und keine hohen mechanischen Eigenschaften aufweisen muss.

Wenn man einen 3D-Druckdienst hat, mit dem man gut zusammenarbeiten kann und der die Modelle in der erwarteten Qualit?t und Zeit abliefert, spielen die Kosten eine untergeordnete Rolle. Es ist deutlich teurer, wenn man Modelle unerwartet nachbearbeiten muss oder seine Deadlines nicht einhalten kann, als von vornherein einen Druckdienst zu w?hlen, der etwas teurer ist, aber auf dem man sich verlassen kann. Einen Imageschaden zu erleiden, weil das Modell eine zu niedrige Qualit?t hat oder man Fristen nicht einhalten kann, ist mit Geld nicht zu beziffern.
