In every call, there's someone who feels they're not needed in that discussion. As a leader, it is your job to make sure no one feels that way. Know the people you're interacting with, along with their strengths and weaknesses. Put an open ended question out there and ask them to draw parallels or share their thought process, based on their experience. Allow others to build up on others' recommendations without judgement or prejudice.
