You should be able to effectively communicate and articulate your experiences by reviewing your achievements to date using proper risk management terminology and providing an overview of various stakeholder engagement (different types). Be sure to highlight the improvements and/or contributions you may have made such as enhancements to the overall risk methodology, training and awareness support and/or identifying new and emerging risks.

To effectively communicate the cyber risk management results, it is paramount to clarify the critical risk approaches considered, i.e., if using quantitative or qualitative metrics or both, break it down to help your audience understand how you or the experts involved formed their hypothesis or intuitions behind data and the cyber policies considered, and how the final results turn into exhaustive and impactful results. Identifying apparent threat actors, threat vectors, the threat landscape, historical data comparison, industry benchmark, legal and regulatory compliance requirements, and risk management scope all form a good foundation that helps interpret the final results to tell if the metrics indicate the organization is secure.
