Evaluation is important, in my case, I always assess my current situation, for example: if I am working on an app, I always check how many students are using it and what they think about it. Secondly, I believe in data, I collect information to understand where I stand. Like user feedback, app usage, or even surveys with teachers and students.

In my experience, every individual has their own analysis and approach while planning the use of specific tools. I have seen many colleagues using similar tools in different ways at work brilliantly. So what is more important is to understand the needs and capabilities of the specific tools. A simple SWOT analysis can help us to understand the best choice for a given scenario. It’s always good to carry out a basic literature review for the materials available in support of the tools which can be used, as more and more researchers are now publishing their experiences through reliable platforms. Another approach can be to test the tool for a sample data and assess the usefulness. Based on the results the actual use can be determined.

In my experirnce it is imperative your audience knows what you sre intending to measure snd also be aware if yiour audience has the capacity or can access thectrchnology since some of them are financially challenged. That is, the trchnology needs to br installed with fees.
