How can you ensure high-quality video content from vendors?

From my perspective as someone who CREATES video content and wants to do a killer job every time, the most important thing you can do for us video creators/vendors is to know what you want to achieve. We want to know… Why are we creating this video? Who is going to be watching it? How do you want that person to feel when it’s over? The answers to those questions are going to help us make some key decisions on how we’re going to shoot it stylistically (i.e. lens choices, camera movement, framing), how we’re going to paint with light, and how we’re going to pace our shots. Also, please know your message. We can’t create a story that’s on point for you if you can’t convey what the story is about. But we truly WANT to. So help us help you.

A lot of time and effort goes into each aspect of video production and waiting until things have moved too far along can be a costly mistake. Instead, work closely with the vendor to ensure the vision is maintained and you are aligned with what is being produced at each step of the way.
