One thing I found helpful is, sending MOM after every meeting so that the team is up to dated on others progress and updates. Even if they were present, MOM gives a clearer picture of what was discussed.

- Set agenda at first, explain the coverage for the day - Share reliable tools (Zoom, Teams, Miro, Azdo, Jira) - Get everyone on Cam which is a must - Get everyone to express by round robin method - Set times for each sub agenda item be on time - End with summary and action items to follow

One thing I have found helpful is to revisit these rules, or team interpersonal norms, on a regular cadence. As team members join or leave, or as the mission of the team shifts from deliverable to deliverable, taking time to reflect on how communication and collaboration should evolve is essential. As part of this exercise, it is important to review documented patterns that foster information flow, and guide the team to iterate practices or processes that are impeding healthy conflict.

In addition to setting the ground rules of communication and guidelines to work together actively, one must attempt to engage and involve all key stakeholders in backlog refinement events and right from making readiness of backlog for upcoming releases or sprint, so no surprises would happen in those planning meetings. Tools like Miro are also very helpful for collaborative planning, designs, flow diagram and note taking. It really brings planning considerations to live and helps everyone understand the goal better and focus on the discussion going on in the session.

One of my favourite recommendation is to inteoduce a daily question. Use your daily standup meeting to ask one check-in question each day. You can let each team member chose the questions in turns. Some of my favourite questions are: - Which would be your supperpower? - How do you eate icecreame? - What would you do with 1 hour more each day? - What was the longest you were not sleeping at all? You can find plenty of inspirational check-in questions online. Or try to come up with questions related to your team. Maybe something that came up in a meeting or during a coffee break.

I highly recommend the adoption of SPRINT for SCRUM teams, as they are fixed blocks of work (weekly, fortnightly or monthly) that end with moments of adjustment and reflection, when the team carries out a review of technical deliveries and a retrospective on interactions, processes and tools, learning from mistakes, and insights. Using mural or miro would help you can include the agenda and organize the session visually so everyone is involved and understand how the session would go. Include some icebreakers and breaks during the session and ask people to turn on their camera.

Once a week or biweekly show up for a happy hour. In meetings turn on video if possible and show up visual gestures for acknowledgement that promotes other to open up and comfortable.

Write a mail to be read/understood/explain briefly.

An example I have seen is trusting the resources by giving them timelines to complete the specific task . It's not about checking each hour if the resources are working or not since they are working on a remote working model . Everyone has their responsibility, but on the other hand there are scenarios where some take shelters of one who works dedicatedly. Be it remote or in the office , one who works will always be dedicated towards the same .
