Try to spend some time thinking about all of the different users that will engage with your experience, and all of the contexts that they'll engage with it in. Will they have decent access to wifi? Will they be in a well-lit environment? Will it be noisy? All of these questions and more can have an impact on how well the tool performs.

The future will be dominated by Augmented Reality and additional tools and wearables devices will come into the market as well. There are several things to mention, the AR is hybrid with VR on latest oculus style devices, but most practical is with phones and tablets. Those devices alone have various operating systems OS and various device screen sizes, hence at the minimum those need to be fully covered. For vast majority of the problems, if are fixed for this category the other will follow suit.

Data privacy is the key element that will always be sensitive with any technology. AR by default is an extension of the user device displaying options and prone to be also observed unintentionally by other people due to physical space environment. Moreover, for projection type of displays the entire AR projection is visible to public around. This induce a new dimension on the privacy spectrum which will require additional protection. Lastly, by merging the physical space with virtual one several safety safeguards for users physical protection may need to be required, like physical barriers rather then virtual one to avoid falling from heights (especially when the technology is used on public or open spaces)

Safety OSHA regulations and requirements will need to be addressed and adapted by new technology, especially when those start to be introduced to industries such as construction, energy sectors or transportation. A false sense of security is real, and there are rules in place to prevent accidents.
