Asegurese primero de que conozcan a que se dedican, como lo logran hoy (alguna cadena de valor debe haber...), y entonces ahora si cuenteles el porque de eso que definen los objetivos estrategicos y como se relacionan como ese "Que hacer", que no sea un tema académico, que sea un interés constante en el "Que hacer" y su continua relación con lo que definen esos objetivos, hagalos parte del resultado buscando mecanismos de participación y apropiación, ya veras que marco de trabajo o metodología aplicas una vez tengas esto bien claro.!

A modern version is to use videos / webinars where the audience can be employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders and other partners to ensure a common message. If there is time, Q&A may also be offered. Then, leaders under the CEO are advised to do the same and apply it to their function or business. Ultimately, the message should be tiered down to a team level in team meetings with employees sharing an example of how the strategy applies to their team.

3 Monitor and celebrate your progress

The third step is to monitor and celebrate your progress towards your strategic goals. You can do this by setting regular milestones and indicators to measure your performance and impact. You can also use dashboards, reports, or surveys to collect and analyze data and feedback. The next step is to translate the strategy to strategic goals down to tactical goals down to the team and individual level. This should be tied to KPIs and ultimately celebrating team and individual wins. It's important to have a top down and an employee up discussion and development of the best way of achieving and exceeding those goals. Collaboration, including cross functional, is critical. This is also a process where executives can watch for the most creative ideas that are "sold" to the team and improve rapid results. When possible, without exposing internal secrets or intellectual property, recommend including groups outside the company who may offer different perspectives and ideas that may ignite enthusiasm and innovation.

4 Review and update your strategic goals

The fourth step is to review and update your strategic goals periodically. You can do this by conducting a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) or a PESTLE analysis (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal, and Environmental) to assess your internal and external environment. At a company level, strategic goals are reviewed at least annually. In today's world, the CEO and key leaders are constantly reviewing them through talking to internal and external ad hoc meetings with an attitude of constant learning. Every employee can do the same. The world is changing so fast, that a premium is placed by the C-Suite and Board for those constantly learning and creating innovative insights and programs ...that get the attention of executives. If that's you, be sure to get credit where credit is due. No one get's there by themselves. The review can also be assigned to some employees, but the best ideas are often by listening to problems, solutions that work, and to the input of others ...even outside the company.

The fifth step is to foster a culture of learning and innovation in your organization. You can do this by encouraging your employees to learn from their experiences, mistakes, and successes, and by providing them with opportunities to develop their skills and knowledge.
