When I think of the two main reasons I evaluate programs like orientation, the first is to share up what our front line employees are experiencing to leaders. The second is to track overtime the successes and areas of opportunity of any given program. Leaders need to know what is being said and felt from new team members. Additionally, having a standardized way of measuring the value and outcome of these programs is critical to their success.
