Everyone knows the basics but last year I had to shoot over 1000 people, if you do not want to destroy tour hands with two many clicks and enjoy editing your own work you need to automate, at the shoot we all use capture one and a macbook pro, they are industry standard and seeing your images on the monitor is very helpful. I use strobe lights for a very consistent result. I create a correction profile for my images that I can apply to the entire set (you can also do this in lightroom), in photoshop you can use AI plugins like "heal" from retouch for me and batch process all your images removing the imperfections in one click! Go for your morning yoga routine and come back to the computer to find everything done :)

When adding layers of more information on top of photos, always make sure that you're not overwriting the original image and that you're following your brand guidelines. If you don't have one, start a simple folder in which you will keep files like the font(s) you will always use for your projects, together with a color palette to be used an where to be used. If you always want fontA on a specific color, write it down as well. This way, you will keep it consistent. When it's time to delegate tasks to others, or to assign someone to take care of branding, by simply sharing that same file folder with the person will make the workflow easier and more intuitive.
