Do not confuse “communicate benefits” with “communicate features”. In order to have a good, clear and concise communication that will matter to your clients (users) have in mind that you need to know them well, and work on a list of characteristics that will in turn become benefits to them. Involving the users from the beginning will definitely reduce their anxiety about the change and make them more supportive. Forming user groups, inviting feedback and treating them as key and critical stakeholders will turn them into active supporters of the migration

Involving the end users ( At least a selected user group) is highly beneficial for migration plans as we can show them how the new OS is better than the old. The advantage which they can get to make their work easier. Moreover they can update their co-workers with the need of the new system rather than sticking into the all system. Also end users can provide the feedback to be considered before migrating the OS to the production environment.

We need to follow a tailored training program for the users to make them understand the OS, conduct webinars and give them user friendly documentation to understand and work with the os. We need to follow the help desk support SLA for the clients and users we need to be able to quickly assist the problem with in the SLA time, track progress of the user understanding.

Different people within the organization will have different requirements and adapt to change at different speeds and in different manners. So it needs to be tailored accordingly.

Change Management: You might have ninety-nine challenges when it comes to change management; however, communication should not be one of them. Plan your desired outcome. We need to follow the post implementation survey we need to take the details of what is need from the user to understand them post implementation, issue tracking system we need to make a ticketing system to keep track of what issue the user has created as a ticket, feedback system, continue traning and support to users, regular communication with the customer to understand there requirements post implementation is a very crucial step and more importantly we need to make documentation of all the steps we follow.
