Find your strengths and then spend all of your time focusing on them. If you're the best VR interactions programmer in the world, it's good to have basic knowledge in other areas but beyond that you want to find the best in other areas. Whether that be another person or a tool, find the best solution for VR analytics, optimized models, environment creation, animation, avatars, VR hardware, etc. If you can do that, you're going to attract the best people and create incredible projects that would never be possible on your own.
