As metodologias servem para nos nortear na resolu??o de problemas e n?o existe uma mais correta que a outra, apenas aplicabilidades diferentes. Eu posso encontrar a raiz de um problema usando um diagrama de Ishikawa ou um 5 Porquês, mas o mais importante é que efetivamente encontrei a causa do problema.

Entender que a prática de melhoria contínua é um processo sem fim nos permite enxergar que qualquer processo pode (e deve) ser melhorado. Todo procedimento tende a se tornar obsoleto, podendo essa obsolescência causada por novas demandas de mercado, automa??o de processos, mudan?as legislativas e etc. Portanto revisar processos, buscar erros e encontrar oportunidades de melhoria pode ser um impulsionador para qualquer negócio.

There are various tools for implementing TQM in a manufacturing environment, but we need to understand that the most important aspect of implementation involves workforce alignment. According to me aligning workmen to reach customer satisfaction along with using different tools like VSM, PDCA, SIPOC, and lean will contribute to the actual implementation.

The key character/aspect to give attention to in TQM is, "T". i.e. Total. By Total it means there has to be "Total" involvement from top to bottom. Every person in the organization must be part of and understand their role in TQM to make it successful. It must be everyone's part of the agenda and a priority. A disconnect at any level works as a stopping point, which causes the failure of TQM initiatives. Ensure an ongoing effort is in place to include people from all levels in the TQM journey and keep them engaged to make it a success.

Um exemplo prático que já vivenciei foi que um setor tinha uma opera??o parecida com a que fazíamos. Nesse processo fizemos uma reuni?o e vimos que juntando a experiência dos dois lados era possível "encurtar" um processo que levava horas e dependia de várias pessoas para um processo que só uma pessoa fazia e levava menos de 10 minutos. Diminuindo assim a quantidade de trabalho e menos email solicitando que outro setor executasse um processo.

From my experience, the TQM implementation gets more success if it the top- down process. Leadership Commitment is crucial. You need commitment from top management to champion TQM principles. Ensure leadership actively supports and participates in the TQM process. Management should establish a system to recognize and reward employees for their contributions to quality improvement. Encourage a positive and motivated workforce.
