1 Plan and define

The first phase of APQP is to plan and define your product or service, based on your customer needs, expectations, and specifications. APQP está totalmente ligada ao ciclo de vida do produto , portanto o nível de mapeamento deste processo precisa ser avan?ado . Em segundo plano é importante o correto treinamento e comunica??o com equipes sobre o processo. Gerar um ambiente onde a vis?o de desenvolvimento e controle de processos seja natural e fluida.

APQP in any company is difficult but in a startup it needs to guided due to conflicts and energies that any startup endures. While how to survive another day is always present, a plan to verifying and validating a zero defect product amidst all of the turmoil is challenging for the unexperienced. As a startup, you may not have a lot of time or resources to spend on this phase, but you should still follow some basic principles of design thinking, such as empathy, ideation, experimentation, and iteration. You should also use agile methods, such as scrum or kanban, to manage your tasks, deliverables, and feedback loops, and to adapt to changing needs and expectations.

By far the hardest step for a startup is stay with the development plan and avoid feature creep with its associated lack of documentation. Change is OK if the requirement change is documented along with validation and verification tests which may add time to the development timeline.

3 Process design and development

The third phase of APQP is to design and develop the processes that will enable you to produce and deliver your product or service, based on the design and development that you completed in the previous phase. This phase involves defining and optimizing the process flow, layout, equipment, materials, and controls, as well as conducting feasibility studies, capability analyses, and failure mode and effects analyses. As a startup, you may not have a formal or standardized process, but you should still strive to create a lean and efficient process that minimizes waste, defects, and variation. You should also use tools such as value stream mapping, 5S, kaizen, and poka-yoke, to identify and eliminate waste and errors, and to improve quality and productivity.

As a startup, you may not have a lot of data or experience, but you should still use data-driven methods, such as statistical process control, quality function deployment, and six sigma, to monitor and improve your quality and performance. You should also use tools such as feedback surveys, reviews, and ratings, to measure and enhance your customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Para esta cuarta fase es importante tener presente: - La realización de pruebas de validación del producto para verificar el cumplimiento de los requisitos del cliente. - Ejecutar las pruebas de capacidad del proceso para confirmar que el proceso de fabricación puede producir productos que cumplan con las especificaciones y al ritmo contratado. - Documentar los resultados de las pruebas y la aprobación para la producción en serie. Esto es mediante los llamados reportes de DVP&R.

Hay una quinta fase que habla sobre el lanzamiento, evaluación y acción correctiva. Aqui será importante documentar todas las lecciones aprendidas durante cada etapa del proyecto, e ir tomando las acciones correctivas correspondientes para solucionar los problemas. Esto no necesariamente es una fase después de las 4 anteriores, sino que se da constantemente en cada etapa.

A fase 5 de um APQP, geralmente é a que menos se investe energia, porém é uma das mais importante para o projeto em si como também para os novos projetos. As li??es aprendidas durante esta fase geram as melhorias contínuas. Melhoria Contínua: Estabele?a um ciclo de feedback e melhoria contínua para ajustar o processo APQP à medida que a startup cresce e novos desafios surgem.
