Don’t bitch about anybody… ever. So many fall at hurdle 3 ???? There are so many deep and profound reasons for that. Unfortunately I cannot list them here.

Time and Energy Management, when coupled together, could perhaps be better thought of as “You Management.” The meaning here is simple: You set YOUR limits with your Time and Energy, and not someone else’s. Sure, you might be working on someone else’s time, but ultimately, YOU are in charge of the time that you spend. If someone else accomplishes more or less than you in the same amount of time, they are not necessarily more or less productive. Maybe they are, maybe they aren’t. Whether they are or not though is none of your concern. If someone expends more or less energy, the same principle applies: That’s them. Not you. You push yourself to YOUR limits, and honor the limitations that YOU set. Concern yourself with YOUR time and energy.

One thing that you could try is creating a simple 4-5 question long Google/Microsoft Office form that your manager, boss, colleagues, mentor, etc can fill out every 3 months to analyze, strategize and work on the roadmap for the next 3 months, with respect to upskilling, improvising what you are doing well already and bridging the gaps that exist currently.
Seeking feedback and improvement demonstrates curiosity and humility. When you go to others (management, colleagues, etc.) for feedback and improvement, this shows that you are genuinely interested in someone else’s perspective on your performance and you recognize you may not be where you should or want to be. Often, your management will already have the metrics and categories with which to evaluate your performance, but why wait until that time to ask? What’s stopping you from going above and beyond the minimum recommended threshold? If management only cares about checking off a box by evaluating you, then perhaps a change in employment is necessary. Most managers though appreciate initiative and will reward original work and thought.
Asking for feedback is a sign of humility and courage. Getting feedback from your colleagues and management creates better relationships and it will help you to get aligned in the Team's and the Company's bigger goal and perspective.

It also means that you keep your manager and team informed of your progress, challenges, and achievements, and that you collaborate and cooperate with them. When your clients’ needs, worries and uncertainties are viewed as your own, you share the burden while doing your utmost to solve the issues. When it’s not just about the sale or the collection of the cheque but rather timely and effective solutions that create those win-win scenarios!
Going an extra mile and serving is a must but it should not be beyond your core values and principles and should not be at the cost of your mental health. Listen to what your client needs and see how you can augment it and serve them wholeheartedly so they can get the results that they need.

This path isn’t easy and can bring unexpected hurdles, but having faith that things will align in the end is key.

Getting a promotion is not the end goal. It is important that you know your WHY. The What and the How will follow if you know your why.
