Even before determining the tool(s), you would like to use to give and receive feedback, it would be wise to identify those who are best placed to give you the feedback that would be most beneficial to you and those who would benefit the most from your feedback. Remember, garbage in equals garbage out. With that in mind, you can enhance what you receive and give by using what Marshall Goldsmith describes as feed-forward. According to Dr. Goldsmith, feedback looks back on the things you've done, while feed-forward prepares you for the things ahead of you. It all about asking for suggestions for improvement.
