I ask straight-forward and intentional questions in the interview process when I'm trying to understand if an organization is a good fit for me. I also ramp up the questions as I get further along in the interview process and as the interviewers change. In the first interview, it's usually a screening from HR. I ask basic questions to get a feel for the position and company, but I don't go too into detail. The second interview is when I get down to the nitty-gritty since this is usually with the hiring manager and/or the team I'll work with directly. Remember, interviews are a two-way street. Just like companies are trying to find the right fit for them, you need the right fit for YOU. Ask the questions that need to be asked. ????
