Actually I disagree with the idea of exiting your Franchise Business. Why you would like to exit??? 1. LACK OF TIME: If it's a Franchise Business that practically means it can be run on an AutoPilot mode. 2. WORK LIFE BALANCE: As I mentioned it in the first point Franchise Business should have the capacity to run on auto-pilot or else you're with a wrong brand, believe me this is a fact. 3. IT'S GOING INTO LOSSES: If this is the problem then you should try some Marketing techniques and see if it's changing the picture. If not then you should exit immediately. Look, in India the brands into franchising and a very few of them are following Franchising Rules or Methods. So, I suggest u to go ahead only with FOCO Models which is lil safe.

exiting a franchise business is defiantly easier than starting. in fact there's three situations. business not making profit, disagreement with corporate(franchisor) or selling a successful franchise for profit. each situation come with rules and conditions that can be found on your franchise agreement. in either situation consulting with your attorney is a must to avoid legal issues. in fact talking to the franchisor about your exit plan is preferable cause they may help you accomplish a smooth exit. with that being said once you feel you have to exit, set a plan and don't let your emotion hold you because time is money you may loose some but peace of mind is priceless......

The best reason to exit a Franchise & 'sell the business' is commitment. When this wanes so does your leadership as an effective driver of the business.
