My personal go to are Apache Ranger and Apache Knox for fine-grained access control and auditing. Apache Ranger gives you a centralized framework to define, administer, and manage security policies. While, Knox gives a single access point for all Hadoop services and data. Using both Apache Ranger and Apache Knox together, you can have a security posture that covers both fine-grained access control and secure, simplified access to Hadoop services.
