For the longest time, finding my voice was a struggle. I was consuming online content and I felt that would affect how my own writing voice would shape out. And that's the truth about it! One of the ways to find your writing voice is to consume content from creators you really agree with. Once you're doing that, spend more time writing for yourself. While your voice has to be unique and consistent (like your personnality), your tone can adapt depending on the audience you are speaking to or the context in which you express yourself. I always use as an example that if I write about climate change, my tone will be different if I explain something to scientists than if I explain the same thing to 5 years old.

Explore the commonly known (and some of the not so commonly known) storytelling frameworks, so as to ensure that you are not shooting in the dark. CCR (Character, Conflict, and Resolution), and SCIPAB (Situation, Complication, Implication, Position, Action, and Benefit) are examples of two common frameworks that you can apply to give your story some structure and allow it to flow in an authentic manner.

STORY is key in ALL aspects of your marketing. First and foremost, always remember that your website is not about YOU! Your website is about your ideal client. From my experience, writing with relatability in mind is always key. Users are looking to connect and if you keep relatability at the forefront of your content you'll easily connect with others. Making content relatable is easier digest and therefore users are more likely to trust and share your content.
