In my past experience i have seen so so so many companies struggle in chosing the right software. The main reason is COST :). They always want to have a system with amazing featues that comes for 100$ / month. This is not possible. Even if you are an SME now think about the future. From the start you should choose a software that can cater your growth in the future. Accomodate more branches, Accomdate multiple user access. Look at the long run not just the short run. The investment in the software will reap benefits with time. Trust the process.

Consider what works best for your company and your client as well. Also consider tax implications of your chosen model like fixed, usage-based or a combination of both. Likewise consider the billing timing in relation to the billing model chosen and how it impacts collectability.
