How can you create a unique web portfolio that showcases your voice?

I say it Personal Branding, explore your personal brand architype, your tone, your colors and most importantly your audience and then create content for them, including your own portfolio.

If you code for fun, show ‘em a snippet of your latest project. If you’re into music and culture, drop a line about the last dope concert you went to. Sprinkle in some personal deets that show you’re not just a business robot; you’re a full-on, multifaceted human being. But remember, keep it 100 but professional. Ain’t nobody gotta know about your grandma’s secret BBQ sauce, unless that’s your biz! Oh, and that photo or video? Make sure it’s crisp, man. Like, no one wants to see a pixelated blur and wonder if that’s you or Bigfoot. Your projects, your aesthetic, all of that has gotta be in harmony with your story. Otherwise, it’s like wearing Gucci with Walmart; it just don’t mesh.

The CTA is where you lay it down: “This is what I bring to the table, now let’s talk.” Provide your contact info but don’t just throw it up there like you don’t care. Make it look just as polished as the rest of your site. Same goes for your resume or CV. You’re not just throwing it up there like leftover spaghetti on the wall. This is your track record, your proof of game. Make it look slick, easy to digest, and maybe even interactive if you’re feeling spicy. Social media links? Make sure they lead to profiles that reinforce the brand you’re showcasing on your portfolio. Every click is a deeper dive into who you are, professionally and creatively.

This I feel is the most important step where we continuously need to update our portfolios. Thia will help our clients , potential recruiters be updated with what we are currently at and accordingly reach out to us.

It is also a good idea to have your own blog page on your portfolio. It will help people to look at what you are interested in, and how well you write something around that topic. Also, they don't have to go somewhere else, in order to read your blog. It will help the audience to be engaged on your website, and may be reach out to you for collaborations/mentorship/job offers etc.
