Based on my experience, I've found Nvidia Omniverse's Audio2Face technology incredibly helpful for facial motion capture, utilizing AI to improve performance. With the newest plugin for iClone, we can now utilize a webcam or a well-lit video of facial movements to convert them into 3D character facial motion capture, leveraging the same Nvidia technology. This streamlines the process significantly. Additionally, when working with Unreal Engine, we can utilize the Live Link Face app, which employs TrueDepth technology on iPhone for precise facial movement capture, integrating the data seamlessly with metahuman characters in Unreal Engine.
