Lejos de centrarse en prototipos y medidas en las que todos tienen que "encajar", el talento se despliega en una relación de confianza, libertad y respeto. Este empoderamiento del lider es la clave para lograr esas condiciones en la relación y abordar la singularidad personal descubriendo motivaciones, intereses, temores y oportunidades con cada uno, de forma diferente.

Pues es claro lo mencionado, la delegación de la gestión del talento al área de RRHH, es un paradigma que debe cambiar desde el propio gestor de las áreas, efectivamente HR debe proporcionar el conocimiento, metodologías y herramientas para poder realizarlo, por ende dentro de los indicadores de gestión de las áreas, adicional a los relacionados a la gestión de resultado esperado, deben estar las de HR, y por otro lado, cambiar el paradigma de la vieja motivación, zanahoria y garrote, siempre será bueno que el gestor de equipos pueda prepararse en gestión de persona como algo fundamental para hacerlo.

I think this is one of the most important pieces of talent management and something that takes continual focus. I’ve found that having a good tool for feedback (peer, manager, cross-functional work group members), helps the idea of continuous feedback really stick because it allows for real-time feedback to motivate great performance AND you can tie it to performance reviews for a cumulative look.

No doubt this is a key element, by cultivating a feedback culture we can drive employee engagement and performance.
