In my experience in budgeting Security risk for Facility Management is: 1. Create a 6 month to a 1 year Equipment Maintenance plan and generate costing for this. 2. Identify the high risk to the low risk so that Management can identify which is to prioritize. By creating a Preventive Maintenance schedule of the equipment you will able to create a list of spare parts needed for the task and create inventory for your fast moving spare parts. Identifying the high risk to low risk will help management to allocate proper budget to the Department to tackle the most urgent to the least.
