5- I am very transparent in the hiring process of what that will look like from day one, we may need to revisit which is totally fine, but letting applicants know of their process and confirming that I will be following along, I find works the best. Reconnecting with folks whether its via email, text, or call, allowing those areas to be determined by the applicants on how they want communication, it key to forming boundaries and setting guidelines. I also allow individuals the space to talk about what things are important to them in an employer. This provides the opportunity for me to make connections with folks that way they can be successful even if it's not in the role they initially applied for.

For starters, never try to sell a candidate on a position no matter how badly you want to fill it. Patty McCormick of Netflix famously said; “Only hire fully formed adults.” So by definition that means that your candidates can make up their mind for themselves. Which means that your job is to provide a great and efficient hiring experience, and all the relevant information they will need to make a decision about joining your company. Keep it real, keep it transparent, tell your story, and remember it’s their career not yours that matters in the equation.

While you are in the group, you as a TS partner need a sponsor (basically someone from your organization who can join with you in the group, and who will truely belong to the group) so that, the conversation can be backed up with ground level reality. 2. It's very important to connect with these folks with consent, or else thi ga might backfire. 3. Make strategy to engage with these folks passively via conducting LinkedIn live sessions, Q & A sessions etc to gauge their interest and pull them as a potential candidate.
