In its literal sense, a "mentor" is someone you look towards for guidance. However, at work (and at times, in life), I feel we should really not lean on a single person for mentorship. There is so much interpersonal interaction in our daily lives that we should tap into the informal source of mentorship. Each individual brings to the table a distinct flavor of their perception. And I feel we can do so much more with multiple flavors at our disposal.
