Definitely there would be trust, rapport and transparency in mutual understanding.

This way no clients feel underhanded and help understanding whenever there is unavoidable scope creep and conflicts.

In my experience the reversed is true. Outsourcing become the problem when outsourced individual cannot do the task as promised or expected. One time a self-employed vendor reasoned to me he need to scale (outsourced) or he will not survived in the business, when the job went south - why he cannot do everything by himself.
