I think it's tough to balance being really good at one game and being able to play lots of different games well. Getting really good at one game takes lots of time and focus. You need to learn everything about it, which needs a ton of effort. On the other hand, being versatile means enjoying different games and learning from each one. You can switch between games easily and learn new things each time you play.
