This is key - as u are integrating across partner networks- important to audit and review your policies and keys. Many times the setup is fine but upgrades cause syncing issues and gaps in encryption. It is generally assumes as a operational issue, but it is a design and architecture issue. This need to be factored into the design.. many cloud and security providers provide this as a service.
