Thought leaders can succeed only through mindful alliances with mechanics who will turn their thoughts into actions. Thinking is important, but on its own it never produces anything.

A thought leader is effective when they connect concepts together so they are illuminating and/or they introduce new ways of thinking about environmental issues and solutions. Doing it in a way that emotionally or intellectually connects with others is what makes the message be heard.
