One should appreciate team member/s, who go over & above their routine work and learn various other skills to excel in their current role or something they want to do in a long run. He/she should understand the aspirations of team members and guide them to right People/coaching/mentors/courses etc.

While setting the goals, one should always answer the two questions - Why (aligned with mission/ Vision) - How (tools, mechanism, support system, new products / territory) Team always appreciate support system and handholding prior to monitoring & reviews

I have successfully helped my team share their knowledge and develop their skills and expertise by creating a shared document of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). This document covers the main topics we use on a day-to-day basis and the systems we use, and it lists who our team’s SMEs are. For example, if a team member needed help creating a PowerPoint document, they could reference our SME document and see that we had Sam and Jill listed as SMEs for PowerPoint documents. This was very helpful for new hires who needed help with procedures and internal systems.

Understand the areas of interest for your team members 2. Identify opportunities for them to work in these areas. The opportunity can be within your team or a collaboration with a different team/function 3. Develop a learning mindset and discipline in your team by asking them to reflect on their learning and share them in one-on-one meetings. Weekly is a good frequency to start with. 4.
