One's economic status can impact how they shows up for different opportunities. These are all things a manager needs to consider before believing in promoting diversity and collaboration when the "diversity" candidate is uncomfortable or not accepted. The shared vision and purpose are ideal, as well as roles and expectations but experience has taught us that "how" we execute these is the key to whether or not we succeed.
