Instagram: Perfect for showcasing my design work visually. It's where I share my portfolio, design projects, and creative process. Behance: This one's specifically for creatives. I love displaying my projects here, getting feedback, and checking out what other designers are up to. These platforms cover my professional networking, creative expression, and portfolio showcase all in one.

For showcasing my work, I mostly use Instagram. Instagram is perfect for people with limited attention spans nowadays. LinkedIn is where I make connections. It's a genuine network for professional connections.

This is true and not true at the same time. You can network on Insta and you can post visuals on Twitter. There are no rules. It’s all about do you want to connect to people in human ways, or you just look for vanity metrics, aka likes and followers count.

Estoy de acuerdo con la idea expuesta, hay que interactuar. Un ejemplo de palabra que me viene a la cabeza y no es tan querido por muchos, es la palabra “política”. Estar en redes e interactuar, te convierte en un candidato para muchas cosas, como por ejemplo: dar asesoría, emitir opiniones, generar feedback en charlas públicas o privadas, darte a conocer, presentarte, hacer campa?as informativas y mucho más, quizás la política viéndolo desde otra perspectiva es clave o fórmula para estar presente en cualquier red social.

This is the most important part. Don’t fall into trap of ‘building communities’ as many influencers preach today. So often we see profiles that never reply to single comment or follow less than 5 other accounts. Personally I avoid those. In my experience it’s more valuable to build 5 very good relationships on social with 300 followers, than having thousands while ignoring everyone.

I want to add that you try not to judge yourself by other creative profiles. It's easy to get drawn in by polished profiles but everyone is different and unique. Even if you don't think it's good, post it anyway and keep posting. I find social media useful for constructive criticism. You'll learn what works for you in terms of social media engagement. Each platform has its pros and cons. Work with all of them and find what works for you.
