Technology is a huge leveller when it comes to communication with your team. Although sync communication is great (e.g. Zoom / Slack), one of the most impactful ways I technology with my globally distributed team of 30+ people was to build morale and share key information ASYNC. Loom videos were THE best way to share the same message with my whole team at the same time, in the same way. Regardless of where they were in the world, and no matter their timezone, each of my team got to see me show up for them and had the time to absorb the message. If you're not used to creating short videos, it might seem daunting, but give it a go! Try starting with a short update to kick off or close out the week and then ask your team for feedback!

Email is fine for formal updates, but video calls are better for building rapport. Take note of your team's preferences and accessibility.
