Private sector has a key role in food safety and poverty. A good implementation of the standards of Social Responsibility and Supply Chain can bring really good results and benefits for the entire society as well as sustainable economic growth .

Treating all different levels of food scarcity with the same food groups doesn’t make sense. In situations that are tip of the spear extreme ie people fleeing from wars or geographical events, they require access to ready available food that does not require further processing. As they move further away from this point food types offered can be transitioned to allow for transformation in the form of cooking. Air dropping flour and wheat doesn’t make sense to an already stressed situation and the burden of preparation will fall on women and children.
