This commitment can be very difficult if being mentored online by someone very far away. Nevertheless, what goals do you want to achieve? Your deep desire to fulfill your dreams can give you the needed commitment, despite challenges.

I think that commitment and structure are crucial for a fruitful relationship between mentor and mentee. Be clear about what you want to achieve and how you will get there. Stick the course and you will feel the benefits immediately.
