La réforme de la facture électronique en France, et dans l'Union Européenne, contraint à abandonner les factures manuelles ou via des outils bureautiques. Il faudra un logiciel permettant de générer au format Factur-X (PDF+XML) et d'appliquer un cachet serveur ou une signature électronique pour authentifier la facture. Il est aussi important de considérer le suivi des paiements des factures qui peut être automatisé par ces mêmes outils, plus facile pour les clients, améliorant le cash et faisant gagner des jours de trésorerie précieux pour les entreprises.

Invoicing is the only track of how much payments have been requested. Without invoicing there wouldn’t be a track of billings. Invoicing helps the analysis of how much payments have been received vs invoiced. Then eventually, a proper receivable analysis can also be created.
