Understanding what is the vision behind the project we do and what impact we as a team are going to make to the world? This is one of the factors how I motivate my team. We can divide the impact into 3 buckets: - Community (our customer): how beneficial the product is for the community. For example, envision developing a platform similar to LinkedIn, imagine the diverse ways it is positively impacting various professional communities. - Organizational Goals: goals are customer centric on how to make customer happy - Impact to the Team: how much impact you are making on their careers and help them grow. If 10 people are working with me so I’m making a 10 times impact compared if I’m working alone. This is how I get motivated.

First and foremost, the youngest community members must be targeted and be attracted, once children are involved and participating then it will fascinate the senior citizens, then the support will simply fall into place and every one will surely have slots in monitoring and managing.

RACI charts should be one the first things to apply there. If you don’t know who’s gonna fix the issues or to do tasks how you gonna finish the project with success. So when you define the responsibilities also you will define for each groups efforts/goals as well. Then you will address the correct actions to correct people.

This involves coordinating, communicating, and collaborating with your team members, stakeholders, and other parties involved in your project. Actually after tooling or simulation study it is not easy to execute the project. There should be always pre-engineering study to define the scope and expectation from the project. So when you define the scope also you should define the correct timeline according to previous projects/experience or it would be helpful to get any info from lessons learned/best practices.

While you are executing your project, you need to monitor and control the progress of your project. This involves measuring, tracking, and reporting the performance and status of your project. Usually in fast development environment JIRA/Confluence are the really great tools to follow timelines and progress. If you don’t have these nice environments in your company you should have some excel files or even really old style some paper to follow the progress so should always recommend to record somewhere even it should be a small piece of paper.
