First you need to define what audience do you have, if you have the wrong one, you need to look or search for another one. 1. Do things that don't hurt other people 2. Express your thoughts, feelings and knowledge openly, with no remorse. 3. Once you do that, all with wisdom and knowledge, you will attract other people without force, and that's the goal. A flower doesn't grow because it must, but because the conditions are right to encourage it to grow (difference between force and attraction). Life, love, community, business, research,... should happen without any force from outside.

So ultimately, your why and your audience should be closely related.

If you get on a call, you can better explain and answer questions and you have way more chances of getting things approved!

Decide well in advance there will be no yielding to “fear of offending”. When landing on the critical message, courage is required to commit to it, accepting the reality that some people will be unhappy, offended, that the message/authoring client may be attacked. Stick to it, don’t water it down which will gut the soul and meaning of the message. If yielding to fear is expected to be negotiated somewhere down the road, seriously consider whether the work is worth starting/doing. If it’s worth it, go for it! If partnering with a client, have the hard conversations to settle any vacillation before the work starts.
