How can data visualization help you identify areas where your team needs support?

Tracking team performance in Sales team is still easy. How to do it in Brand Marketing team, or say software team, where each bug can take 2-3 hours easily. Having customized metrics and KPIs suitable for your team and even every member is important. Suppose you have 1 project manager, 3 data analysts and 3 designers. Same metrics cannot be visualized for team performance. So, Managers should have this awareness and create performance metrics accordingly. Some metrics can be common, while some should be measured and defined differently.

KPI: Key performance indicators. The first step is to figure out what are the metrics that define success for us. For example, a marketing campaign would require KPIs like click conversion rate and engagement. Similarly, different aspects of a business will have different KPIs.
