I agree with all of this. However, its message comes across as idealistic…the reality is that collaboration takes accountability & responsibility on both sides! You have to be accountable and you hold the others you work with accountable! It takes both parties to be trusting and to practice transparent communication…there is no room for vague definitions! This enables the experience & feedback that is brought to the table to be 100% respected, while embracing credible (not critical) feedback, and needs to be encouraged by all parties.

I will recommend to have Enterprise level Architectural Strategies, Standards,Principles, Patterns to be defined ,and also Governance Forums to be setup in collaboration with architects and engineers ,so that we have ground rules are set and agreed by both the areas , which needs to be followed and ensure consistency, traceability in the process.
