Yes, consider unsolicited feedback but assume that the feedback is more about the giver than you. In contrast, feedback you seek out has more value. Look for patterns or themes-- over time. Do a quick review of your first thoughts. Then, put you notes away and open them in 90 days. You'll see the feedback in new light and it will ready you to set effective goals. Unsolicited vs. solicited feedback require two different responses. Unsolicited feedback: Consider it but remember it's about the giver. Solicited Feedback: -More valuable -Look for patterns over time -Review first thoughts quickly -Put notes away and check in 90 days You'll see more insights in new ways and be ready to set goals.
