Motivating adult professional students to explore and use new tools. I encouraged them to use new tools. During my lecture I explained the importance of using new technology and how can use them with enhance their subject knowledge collaboratively. I told a story how I get benefitted from it by showing few real examples. After that I conclude the lecture by requesting them politely this way. Example: "I encourage you to explore the latest technological tools used in your professional field. In next week's class, please share one new tool you've discovered with the class." This approach encourages self-directed learning for betterment their careers, promotes peer-to-peer learning and building presentation skills and confidence..

Here are my experiences in using assertiveness in managing staff lecturers by encouraging them to share new knowledge. I encouraged my assistant lecturers to use new knowledge. The key here is encouraging rather than mandating. Example: "For our next staff meeting, I request politely, please prepare a short presentation on the latest trends in your subject area. This will help all of us learn and grow mutually " by using this method - Promoted continuous learning. - Pass them the responsibility and ownership of their professional development. - Created a culture knowledge sharing. - Use my authority positively without being authoritarian. This approach encouraged sharing new knowledge without forcing it.
