In fact, rethinking the usefulness of vacant or obsolete spaces is an asset in real estate strategy and asset management. As part of my corporate management duties in the real estate sector, it is my responsibility to rethink the usefulness of spaces in order to maximise their potential for physical space, but above all for profitability. Next, check with the licensing authorities to see if these obsolete spaces can accommodate new alternative activities. t our company, we now design buildings, especially residential and office buildings, based on the uses our clients put them to. For example, after the pandemic, offices began to be used differently from what we were used to. As landlords, we have to meet the needs of our clients, who in this case (offices) are not our tenants, but the employees, for whom we have to create functional spaces, adapted to hybrid regimes, sometimes with the need to create spaces such as kindergartens, to attract employees to the office and continue to have their children nearby. Or even to create leisure spaces integrated into the offices. All with a view to integrating the functionality of the office with the current needs of our clients: the employees.
